Though her style is reminiscent of great artists such as Cassandra Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald and Diana Krall, Crystal Collins sings in a style that is all her own.  From sultry ballads to fun and swingin’ jazz standards; beautifully crafted bossa-novas to powerful R&B and Motown tunes; Crystal delivers a performance that won’t be soon forgotten. Crystal has performed extensively on Colorado stages for most of her life, both as a solo act, as well as with local groups such as AOA and others. She’s traveled abroad entertaining military troops and their families and has opened for national artists Gato Barbieri and Stanley Clarke. Crystal also conducts jazz workshops and concerts for school age children and performs regularly for local charity events such as the National Alzheimer’s Association and The Denver Rescue Mission. She has trained with Billboard’s 1996 Jazz Vocalist of the Year, Mark Murphy and was the understudy in the hit play “Sistas and Storytellers”.
